This is a Photo/journalism journal about my experiences and challenges, both personal and technical, that come with being a struggling journalist in San Francisco. It is also a space to share my work, and the stories of how I get stories.
I have recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Journalism and am a member of the National Organization of Hispanic Journalists.
When time allows me, I report for Mission Loc@l, where I recently completed an internship, through my writing, photos and videos. When I have free time I also translate and occasionally shoot for El Tecolote, where I also used to intern.
Now that I’ve graduated, I hope to continue reporting and taking photos while somehow avoiding starvation. So far, I’m just barely accomplishing that goal.
All writing, photographs, videos and multimedia on this blog are by me unless otherwise noted.
